Things to Do

Beyond celebrating with us, Calistoga and the surrounding Napa Valley offer a wide array of activities to enjoy.

Wine Tasting

Napa Valley is home to renowned wineries offering diverse tasting experiences. While half of the fun is selecting a winery to visit that calls your name, here is a list of some of our favorites.

Relax, Rejuvenate, Get Outside

Calistoga is famous for its natural hot springs and spas. Treat yourself to a relaxing day or get outside and enjoy the beauty Napa Valley has to offer.

  • A mud bath: A unique and therapeutic experience using volcanic ash, peat, and mineral water. Several spas in town offer this. (We recommend Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, The Spa at Solage, and Indian Springs Resort & Spa to start your search)

  • Hiking at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park: Explore redwood groves, canyons, and hiking trails.

  • Biking along the Silverado Trail: Enjoy scenic views of vineyards and rolling hills. Bike rentals are available in town.

  • Hot Air Balloon Rides: Experience breathtaking views of the Napa Valley landscape at sunrise. (Dylan surprised Yoana with this for her 22nd birthday, followed by brunch at Sunflower Cafe in Sonoma - one of our favorites!)

Explore Calistoga

Calistoga distinguishes itself within Napa Valley through its laid-back, rustic charm, geothermal hot springs, and a strong connection to its agricultural and pioneer history, offering a different pace and set of attractions compared to its more polished neighbors. This unique blend creates a relaxed yet engaging atmosphere, making it a memorable destination.

  • Stroll along Lincoln Avenue: The main street is lined with charming shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms.

  • Explore the Calistoga Depot: A historic landmark that now houses shops and art galleries. It's a great place to browse local artisan crafts and perhaps find a unique souvenir.
